Readers Workshop 📚

As 2nd grade readers we are reading in book clubs. Our reading skills are getting stronger. You can see from the posters above what our focus is during reading time. We are reading 30 minuets a day. Moreover, we are taking these reading skills home to practice.

Redwood Forest

🌼Spring has sprung🌼

We took a brain break outside today. We noticed signs of Spring: buzzing bees 🐝, baby leaves, green grass, and bright sunshine ☀️! We used theses signs of Spring in our poetry writing.

Where is Spring💐?

It does not feel like Spring outside but it sure feels like Spring inside!!🌸🌺
Our Spring poems warmed us up today.  We are looking forward to all Springtime has to offer.
