We learned about beets and carrots 🥕 today during Farm to School. In addition the children learned about cutting down on food waste. They came up with ideas such as: making a grocery list to take to the store, planning meals, eating leftovers and only taking what you can eat, as ways to take care of our environment and cut down on food waste. We all voted a 👍🏼for the beets and carrots 🥕
